KE 中文戏剧社成立于 2001年，他是由新加坡国立大学 KE VII宿舍的学生所创立的。他们带着对中文戏剧创作和表演的激情，本着弘扬中华戏剧文化的思想，走到一起，携手建立了这个中文戏剧社。自此以后， KE中文戏剧组逐渐成长起来。我们不仅积极参演宿舍里各种文化表演活动，更将剧作推向了校园，坚持每年都在校园内举行公演。短短六年来，在一批批剧社社员的共同努力下， KE中文戏剧社已经成为国大校园中的一支活跃的团体。
Founded in 2001, the National University of Singapore, King Edward VII (KE) Chinese Drama Society is a performing troupe manned by undergraduates in KE Hall. Being a group of active young people sharing a passion for stage drama, we stage plays in Chinese medium, hoping to portray human life in its artistic glory. At the same time bring a smile to our audience. In a short period of seven years, we have expanded out of KE hall into the campus scene. Aside from performances in the university annual cultural event, we plan to promote Chinese drama and culture to the student body as a whole.

We continually strive to deliver performances of the highest quality, valuing creativity and daring to test boundaries. Being an entertainment group manned by students for students, we are aware of our duty to present Chinese Drama at it finest, promoting Chinese Drama ad culture to the massed. Therefore, we seek professionalism in what we do.
