The King Edward VII Welcoming & Orientation Committee (KEWOC) 09/10 has planned a series of activities that will revolve around the theme 'VOYAGE'.

A Voyage is a long journey to a foreign or distant place, often travelling across a long distance. The theme 'Voyage' was chosen to vividly highlight the importance of the first steps into university and KEVII, a territory unfamiliar to most freshmen, and the journeys that follow beyond.

You will be exposed to different experiences and diverse personalities. It may be wrought with uncertainty and unpredictability, but yet which journey isn’t? This is one that is essential and irreplaceable, an enriching learning experience we hope you will savour and appreciate. There might be challenges along the way, but we will be there to support and guide you along. At the end of this journey; you will emerge as a true KEVIIan.

The Logo

The logo emphasizes the theme which is VOYAGE. The logo combines a footstep as well as a map. Footsteps signify the journey that we make since the day one is born, while the dotted lines represent the odyssey that one has undertaken. The circular pattern which resembles the fingerprint signifies the uniqueness that one might obtain through the orientation itself. Overall, the logo suggests the idea of KEVII's Orientation providing a unique experience or journey that is invaluable when embarking on future journeys.
