Junior Common Room Committee (JCRC)
69th Junior Common Room Committee (JCRC)
The President and Vice-President of the Junior Common Room Committee (JCRC) are elected annually by the residents of the hall. The rest of the JCRC go through a selection process deemed suitable by the President and Vice-President. The JCRC oversees the welfare and the orderly conduct of the communal affairs of all KEVIIans. It operates under a Constitution approved by the Hall Master.

Basically, the Finance Director is the money person of JCRC 😎 - ensuring sufficient funds are provided for residents’ favourite CCAs and hall events. From allocating budget, managing usage of funds to approving purchases, my job is to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes 🏃 ➡️. It’s more than just tallying numbers - it’s about supporting KEVIIans, maintaining transparency, and making sure the fun doesn’t stop 😋 (without breaking the bank, hopefully 👀). |

As Internal Affairs Director of the JCRC, I work with the committees that bring these experiences to life, shaping the rhythm and traditions that make KEVII more than just a residence. From cherished traditions to entirely new adventures, residents here have the chance to experience things they might never have tried before. Whether it is stepping into a formal dinner for the first time or joining a spontaneous hall-wide activity, each moment adds a new layer to our shared culture. My role is to connect and coordinate these moving parts, ensuring they run smoothly while capturing the warmth, character, and energy of our hall. It is about more than planning events; it is about nurturing a culture where residents feel at home, take pride in their traditions, and become part of a community. |
