Alumni Reunion for 1970s residents
What started out as four KEVIIANs meeting regularly for good food, has grown to become one of the biggest reunions for the Class of ‘70s. Over 80 Alumni who stayed in the King Edward VII Hall at Sepoy Lines in the 1970s, met at the Singapore Island Country Club for a reunion on 31 Aug 2018. There were representatives from the schools/faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. Most of these alums are based in Singapore, with some travelling in from Malaysia, and one US-based couple extending their holiday to attend. Gracing the event were retired canteen operator, Mr Wong…
Dining Hall Opening
On 15 December 2019, we welcomed over 70 KEVIIAN alumni (including distinguished guests) to the opening of the Dining Hall! The upgraded Dining Hall garnered some “oohs” and “aahs” but most importantly, everyone had a good time over food, making KEstories & collaborative art, and antics at the photobooth, all clad in their vintage KE shirts! Current KE Band entertained and the event ended with a good old Hall song singalong led by the JCRC & CCA leaders. Stay tuned for more events!
KEVII Hallplay – Homesick
Identity crises, tough choices, belonging, destiny, family, tradition, unfaithfulness...
